OS NET-UK selects PolaRx5

Leuven, Belgium – 18 May 2018 – The Ordnance Survey awarded Septentrio the contract for the supply of its geodetic-quality PolaRx5 reference receivers to be included in OS Net – Great Britain’s national GNSS infrastructure.  PolaRx5 multi-frequency GNSS receivers, to be installed in the CORS network (GNSS continuously operating reference stations), provide the fundamental infrastructure for the nation’s Network RTK correction capability.  A growing number of customers rely on the OS Net to receive high-accuracy positioning for their daily tasks.

Septentrio participates in 1000km event of Cancer Foundation

Leuven, Belgium – 11 May 2018 – GNSS receiver manufacturer Septentrio is participating with a total of 16 riders in the 1000 km cycling event, promoting the Flemish Cancer Foundation “Kom Op Tegen Kanker”. Each team of 8 riders is required to gather 5000 euro in donations to allow entry to the event. All donations go into cancer treatment research. Funding from the foundation is invested in biomedical research on innovative cancer treatment programmes as well as in psychosocial research to improve the wellbeing and life quality of (ex)-patients.

Septentrio to supply AsteRx-m2 receiver for new Delair UX11 large-area mapping UAV

Septentrio launches the AsteRx-i for IMU-enhanced GNSS positioning and attitude

Leuven, Belgium – 23 April 2018 – GNSS receiver manufacturer Septentrio today announced the launch of the next generation AsteRx-i at IEEE/ION Position Location and Navigation Symposium in Monterey, US. The AsteRx-i combines Septentrio’s latest compact, multi-frequency multi-constellation GNSS engine with an external industrial grade MEMS based IMU. It can deliver accurate and reliable GNSS/IMU integrated positioning to the cm-level as well as full 3D attitude at high update rates and low latency.
