PolaRx3eG PRO

GPS/GALILEO, GPS/GLONASS Dual-frequency Receiver in waterproof aluminum housing.

PolaRx3eG PRO belongs to the PolaRx family of versatile high-accuracy dual-frequency GNSS receivers for precise positioning and navigation applications. It provides access to the new Galileo and modernised GPS signals and offers users the opportunity to track the new signals as they become available. Next to high-quality Galileo and GPS measurements, it provides an attractive reference station and field data logging platform for existing users of PolaRx2e as well as for new users, while maintaining the same tough housing, interfaces and features as internal data logging, event markers and others.

Applications

Continuously Operating Reference Stations and Networks

Excellent data quality and remote control capabilities are your prime requirements for fixed point data collection for post-processing and analysis, real-time RTK correction distribution, geodetic research and more. Septentrio’s receivers feature high sensitivity, low noise, very few cycle slips and exceptional tracking stability, plus easy networking, intuitive remote control, easy data logging and transfer, and offer you the best and most affordable solution for your CORS requirements. Easy networking and remote control are possible using Ethernet and RxControl, our intuitive remote control and monitoring package.

Septentrio receivers are used in the IGS and EUREF permanent GPS/GNSS station networks.

Septentrio’s unique single-board multi-antenna receiver moreover offers a special solution for integrated stability monitoring over limited distances (eg for bridges, dams, etc).

Interfaces for Septentrio receivers are available in various independent software packages for reference network applications.

Precise Time and Frequency Transfer

Special very precise synchronization functions (10 MHz in and output, 1PPS in and output) are used to synchronize atomic clocks and other time-critical infrastructure to the sub-nano second level.

PolaRx3eTR is a unique receiver on the market providing this functionality for time laboratories, space ground infrastructure etc.

SBAS: EGNOS / WAAS / MSAS

EGNOS, WAAS and MSAS supply additional differential corrections and integrity information that Septentrio receivers use to provide confidence in the position solution for applications in safety-critical environments next to GPS based position information.

Tracking up to 6 SBAS satellites at the same time, these receivers can be used to monitor EGNOS, WAAS and MSAS signals, include information in ground-based augmentation infrastructure, but also to create EGNOS-based navigation products for use in for instance train navigation and signalling, airport ground traffic, maritime navigation solutions etc.

PolaRx3e can also use SISNET supplied SBAS information, thus increasing availability and reducing time to availability of EGNOS-based information, ideal to continue to receive the vital integrity information in urban canyons, tunnels, railway stations and other places where EGNOS satelliltes are (temporarily) invisible.
