This page contains the latest firmware, manuals and tools for the AsteRx-m OEM.

Notes

Version 3.0 of the firmware for AsteRx-m receivers introduces a new and improved RTK engine for survey applications, that uses both GPS and GLONASS satellites to compute a Fixed RTK solution. Compared to previous versions of the firmware, version 3.0 provides a shorter time-to-Fixed RTK, as well as more robust RTK operation in difficult environments. The position update rate is currently limited to 1Hz; a firmware version for machine control applications, supporting higher update rates, will be available at the end of 2012, until which time non-survey users should use version 2.3.2 of the firmware.

High Integrity Navigation

Septentrio receivers provide high quality GPS position data. Integrity information is used to monitor the confidence a user can place in the GPS positions calculated by his receiver. AsteRx2e receivers can supply integrity information from SBAS satellites, or receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (RAIM), and can be used for a wide range of navigation applications in land vehicles, trains, ships, planes and helicopters. A unique feature in AsteRxi, AsteRx2eH and PolaRx2e@ is the availability of heading or roll/pitch/yaw information, which offers important support for navigation in marine and aviation products, and and automated steering in for instance unmanned vehicles.

Survey

Septentrio high-performance dual-frequency receivers implement an optimised solution for both real-time and post-processing survey applications for land- and hydrographic survey, aerial photography, land construction, mining, dredging and many other applications requiring very precise position and orientation measurements.

AsteRx2e receivers offer excellent low noise data, fast and precise cm-level position data using dual-frequency Real-Time-Kinematic (RTK) techniques. Very precise attitude (heading or roll/pitch/yaw) data at up to 20 Hz is provided by AsteRx2eH.

AsteRx2e receivers are available as OEM receiver cards for integration in your own products, or as completely packaged receivers incl. required cables etc. Also survey grade antennas and other accessories are available.
Interfaces for Septentrio receivers are available in various independent software packages (link to post processing page) for phase-based post-processing or real-time survey.
