GNSS/INS Research Engineer
Septentrio is looking for a motivated and technically skilled research engineer to support and further develop our AsteRxi product line. AsteRxi is a line of high-end GNSS-IMU receivers which are currently based on loosely-coupled integration between GNSS and MEMS-IMU sensors.The candidate will maintain and support the firmware implementation of the loosely-coupled algorithms and start the development of a closely-coupled system as well as interfacing with the signal processing engineers to prototype a tightly-coupled system.
- You will develop and implement embedded GNSS/IMU algorithms
- You will be the driving force in bringing inertial navigation experience in the receiver development team
- You will work in a small development group and take a pro-active attitude towards bringing products with new features to the market.
- has a fundamental understanding of sensor fusion algorithms, Kalman filtering and measurement variance modelling
- has a theoretical background in inertial navigation systems
- has hands-on experience with inertial sensors
- has affinity with integrity concepts
- has a creative personality
- has a pro-active attitude and enjoys working in a small group
- fluent in Matlab
- strong programming skills (C, C++)
- documentation and reporting skills
- affinity with embedded systems
MSc or PhD in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Electrical engineering, Geodesy or Aerospace Engineering
